Cranberry Crumb Bars with Mulling Spices [The Smitten Kitchen]
Very much a team effort. I made the crumb and Meredith did the insides. Both with kids help along the way.
This was part one of our Thanksgiving day food. The other was just stuffing waffles with leftover stuffing from 2024.
This was store-bought turkey cut up and made into nachos. Worked well enough.
The fondue was frozen from 2024 (we think...not totally sure)

We didn't really do Thanksgiving this year so when we were shopping (on Thanksgiving), I bought this and made it later.
I would absolutely consider just turkey breast in the future. Especially when there weren't a lot of people (or in this case, literally just me) this was so much easier to handle. And can be cooked in the toaster oven.
I just used melted butter with some black pepper, ground thyme, and freshly ground dried rosemary. It worked well. I liked the addition of the pepper.
As often happens, I was glad I spot checked the temp elsewhere as the area near the thermometer was the right temp, the rest was not.
